2006 Cabernet Sauvignon and 2009 Sandpiper Rosé

This spring, Porter Family Vineyards is proud to release the 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon and the 2009 Sandpiper Rosé on March 29th, 2010.  Our 2006 Cabernet was in barrel for 2 years and has been in bottle since January 2009.  Ripe fruits, vanilla, cedar, and sandalwood greet the nose, while blackberry, cassis, plum, juniper, and green tea shake hands with the palate, showing a strong, classic Cabernet Sauvignon expression.  Polished, elegant, exotic and aromatic.  Our dry 2009 Rosé is made from Syrah harvested from three Coombsville vineyards, and exhibits wonderful tropical fruit and strawberry aromas and flavors with just a hint of "Pris de Mousse" characters.  Find out why our Rosé is the top of Napa pinks!  A perfect summer wine.

    "The BEST California Rosé I have ever sampled! It has just the right aromas and flavors to qualify as my all-time favorite. The nose is tropical fruit of pineapple, strawberries and passionfruit. The ripe berry flavors please your palate from the beginning with a perfect and suprisingly long-lasting finish from such a wine. The grapes are Syrah and were carefully grown and masterfully processed to make this a delicate and enjoyable Rosé. Outstanding summer wine or perfect for any holiday."
